A Retrospective Gallery
Airi chose a big selection of my oil paintings made ever since 1946 – 60 pictures altogether. They make a fine cross-section of the stages of my life. I started drawing and painting when I was quite young, and I am finishing it when I am quite old. There in between are the years when I did TV films, documentaries mostly about art. Here you see drawings and watercolours I made when I was in my early teens.
